The Society of St. Andrew Delmarva proudly recognizes Wright’s Market and The Wright family farms with the prestigious Feeding Delmarva Award for their outstanding dedication to combating hunger and supporting local communities throughout the Delmarva region.
Over the past year, the Wright family has generously donated 55,288 servings of fresh, nutritious vegetables to local feeding agencies via our gleaning network. By opening their fields to trained
volunteers—including school groups, community members, and service organizations—they have helped harvest produce that might otherwise have gone unused. These efforts not only provide vital nourishment to families in need but also foster community engagement and education.
The Wright family’s commitment to sustainable farming, community collaboration, and hunger relief exemplifies the values that drive Delmarva’s economic and social vitality. Their partnership strengthens the local food system and enhanced the lives of our local community members.
