Salisbury, MD – Women Supporting Women is holding their 25th Annual Walk for Awareness on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at The Centre at Salisbury.
Survivors, their families, friends, coworkers, and loved ones are encouraged to form teams and walk to spread awareness of breast cancer, in honor of someone who has battled the disease, or just for fun.
New additions will be found at the Walk for Awareness to help commemorate this special anniversary for the organization, such as the return of “Survivor” and “Supporter” T-shirts, “Walk Down Memory Lane”, a pink outfit contest, and more to be announced soon. The usual fun activities will remain present as well, such as face painting, vendors, and an energetic warm up to get the morning started. Breakfast and coffee will also be available for purchase prior to the walk beginning.

registrations will begin on Saturday, October 24th, at 9:00 a.m. in the Food
Court at The Centre at Salisbury. The cost to register for the Walk is $30 per
person, $5 per dog, and children under the age of 5 are free. Please note to receive a free, commemorative 25th annual Walk for Awareness T-shirt (“Supporter” or “Survivor”), registration and payment must be provided on or before October 2nd at 3:00 p.m.
Registration and check-in will be open until 10:00 a.m., with announcements, face painting, vendor shopping, Survivor and Team pictures happening until 10:30 a.m. At that time, the Walk for Awareness will begin, and attendees will make two laps around the inside of the mall, ending at the stage in front of Boscov’s. At 11:45 a.m., the Awards Ceremony will start, where WSW will hand out trophies to the top fundraising team, top fundraising individual, largest team, best decorated store front, and best pink outfit. After the Walk concludes, event attendees will be encouraged to shop the mall with exclusive coupons.
