Salisbury, MD — George, Miles & Buhr, LLC (GMB) is pleased to announce the promotion of Fredy D. Hernandez-Mejia to Graduate Engineer in the firm’s Site/Sustainable Group.
Fredy began his career at GMB as an intern in 2021 while pursuing an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Delaware Technical Community College. Upon completion of his degree in 2022, he joined GMB full-time as a CAD Drafter.
In 2024, Fredy transitioned to a part-time role to complete his bachelor’s degree. In May 2026, he graduated cum laude from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology.
As Graduate Engineer, Fredy continues to assist with site planning, stormwater management reports, and engineering design for residential and commercial projects throughout Delaware and Maryland.
Fredy’s progression from intern to Graduate Engineer reflects both his dedication to professional development, as well as GMB’s commitment to fostering employee growth by supporting continued education and investing in the long-term success of its staff.
