Somerset County Tourism will be partnering with the Maryland Office of Tourism to present a Tourism Summit on Wednesday, March 23rd, from 9 am to 3 pm. The program is free and open to local businesses and organizations. Workshops “Company Is Coming: Are You Ready?” and “Social Media: Best Practices” will be held along with networking and question/answer sessions. The workshops are designed to help you prepare for the 2016 Tourist season and maximize your business, attraction or event through Social Media.
Join us for one, or both, sessions to see how we can work together to make our region a popular tourist destination. Participation is limited to 50, advance registration is requested. Free guest Wi-Fi is provided, so please bring your laptop, tablet, or device of choice. The Summit will be held at the Senior Center located at 8928 Sign Post Road in Westover, Maryland.
