Delmarva Veteran Builders, the region’s only commercial construction firm dedicated to bringing employment to U.S. Armed Forces Veterans, announced the addition of Army National Guard Staff Sergeant Lee Beauchamp, PE to its team.
After receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Delaware and a Masters of Business Administration from Wilmington University, Beauchamp spent the majority of his professional career working in both the engineering and operational aspects of public infrastructure management. Prior to his experience in the public sector, Beauchamp’s experience in the construction industry stemmed from starting and operating his own business; Beauchamp Custom Carpentry Corporation based in Salisbury, Maryland.
He served as a staff engineer for AES Architect from 2005 to 2007 and then went on to work as a project engineer for City of Salisbury Public Works where he managed over 25 active infrastructure projects. Beauchamp then went on to serve as the Deputy Director of Environmental Services for the Town of Cortlandt Manor, New York where he managed the town’s water and sewer system. Most recently he served as the Public Works Director for Wicomico County. As director he was responsible for managing a 700 mile county road network and the solid waste operation that consists of the Newland Park Landfill and associated recycling operations.

Mr. Beauchamp continues to serve in Army National Guard as a Staff Sergeant for Delaware Army National Guard with 15yrs of service.
