The Maryland Department of Labor’s new heat stress regulation, as published in the Maryland Register on Sept. 20, has taken effect as of Monday, Sept. 30. Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (MOSH) is available to assist employers in developing heat stress management plans to ensure compliance with the new requirements.
