Salisbury University is excited to announce the second annual Research Day and Innovation showcase on Friday October 3, 2014 in Perdue Hall. The theme of the event is “Creating Connections” –connections within the campus community and between the campus and our local community.
The Schedule for the day includes:
10a.m.: Showcase Begins
A showcase to highlight SU’s faculty labs, academic units, service units and centers, galleries…everyone! It is a great opportunity to learn how local business can connect with SU.
11:45-1:15p.m.: Salisbury Chamber of Commerce Luncheon Panel
“The Path from Research to Profits- Building Successful University-Industry Partnerships” (RSVP requires as space is limited.)
1:30-5:30p.m.: Presentations
Presentations highlighting the research and scholarly endeavors of eight selected faculty and how their works make connections within our community.
5:30-7p.m.: Closing Reception, Performance and Showcase Wrap-Up
A faculty performance and wine and cheese reception for all attendees.
The community is welcome to attend – stop by for an hour or spend the day! Enjoy an exciting day of exploration, connection and conversation!
