The Fourth Annual Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic featured 132 players, the largest Golf Classic to date. This year’s event was held at the beautiful River Marsh course at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge Maryland. The day started with the infamous 50/50 ball drop, this year high above the first hole as the balls were dropped 50 feet from the bucket of a Choptank Electric bucket truck!
Players were treated to great weather, breakfast, lunch, golfer gift bags, numerous on course interactive holes sponsored by a variety of Delmarva businesses, beer provided by Eastern Shore Distributors, and soft beverages provided by PEPSI of Salisbury! A huge thanks to the Presenting Sponsor, Spicer Brothers Construction, and CEO Brian Spicer!

At the Awards luncheon, the winning teams received their prizes along with the contest hole winners.
First Place Low Gross winner was the team from Pohanka Automotive of Salisbury. First Place Low Net winner was the team from Choptank Electric. Second Place Low Gross was the team from Whiting-Turner Contracting Company and Second Place Low Net was the team from Gillis Gilkerson. Third Place Low Gross was the team from Hebron Savings Bank and Third Pace Low Net was the team from The Ross.
Men’s Long Drive winner was Greg Hayes and Ladie’s Long Drive winner was Sandy Angello. Men’s Closest to the pin winner was Jamie Engle and Ladies Closest to the pin was won by Caroline Carozza.
