Salisbury, MD – September 5th, 2023 – The Salisbury School commenced its 2023-2024 academic year today with a heartwarming tradition that embodies the spirit of community. Mr. Clay Elliott, the newly appointed Head of School, continued a cherished annual tradition by personally greeting arriving students outside of the Lower School with a warm handshake. This gesture, symbolic of the school\’s commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment, was met with enthusiasm and smiles from students, parents, and faculty alike. Adding a special touch to this memorable day, Mr. Elliott\’s daughters joined the lower and middle division students as they embarked on their first day of the school year.
