Vance Morris Wins National Marketing Competition

????????????????????????????

Vance Morris, Founder of Deliver Service Now and MEGA (Marketing & Entrepreneur Growth Alliance, recently won Dan Kennedy’s Internationally held marketing competition for adaption of one marketing piece and utilizing it in a completely different industry.

Most people on the Eastern Shore know Morris as the owner of Chem-Dry On The Shore, an Easton, MD based carpet cleaning company. But few know that he has been creating an international alliance of entrepreneurs and business owners focused on exponentially improving their businesses through implementing Disney-Style Service and Direct Response Marketing.

Recently, Morris has been sharing his service and marketing strategies through local live Events in Annapolis, Easton and Salisbury as well as other International Events. He has essentially packaged up all he leaned learned over a 25 year career; as a Manager and Trainer at Walt Disney World in Florida, 15 more years in Hospitality and the last seven as a local business owner.

Morris submitted two of his most successful Chem-Dry ads to compete against entries from around the world. The ad had to:

  1. Sharply differentiate itself from all competitors in the market (In this case Carpet Cleaners)
  2. Stand out and Stand Apart from All others (Emulated the Rocky Broadway Ad)
  3. Had to have generated MEASUREABLE RESULTS. This is the ONLY thing that really matters to small businesses.
  • Dan Kennedy founded GKIC (Glazer Kennedy Insiders Circle) when he started bringing together exclusive groups of like-minded entrepreneurs, business people, speakers, consultants, sales people and managers who wanted to increase their reach, maximize their profits and create a better, more rewarding lifestyle.
  • Morris received his award the GKIC Info-Summit, an annual international Marketing Conference, held in St. Louis, MO. It was at this conference that Morris also got to spend time with not only Dan Kennedy, but Peter Guber, CEO of Mandalay Entertainment and Dick Clark Productions.

GKIC teaches better marketing by concentrating on Kennedy’s proven system, which focuses on three things that make up the Marketing Triangle:

  • The Right Message
  • The Right Markets
  • The Right Media
  • Whereas most people ignore this straightforward approach and start with Media, GKIC helps members understand the correct process so they can attract their ideal customers and gain serious competitive advantages.
