Woodforest National Bank is pleased to announce that a Small Business Symposium and Networking Event will take place October 19, 2017 at the Student Services Center on the UMES campus in Princess Anne, MD. With the goal of facilitating a real dialogue about topics that are important to local entrepreneurs and leaders, the symposium will help small businesses on the Eastern Shore explore leadership challenges and opportunities.
Focusing on the needs of local business, this Small Business Symposium will give Eastern Shore business leaders candid insights from experts. The event will be moderated by Andre’ P. Smith, who brings over 20 years of experience as a small business owner, manager, trainer, consultant and speaker, to the event. The event will host a panel of Eastern Shore business owners, and feature an exchange of ideas and information related to starting and operating a local business.

The event has no registration cost, and starts at 12:00pm on Thursday, October 19. It will be held in the Student Services Center, in Meeting Room 2149, located at 11868 College Backbone Rd, on the UMES campus in Princess Anne. Refreshments will be provided.
