The City of Salisbury, Shore Transit, and Salisbury University are proud to announce the return of Downtown Trolley service and a new and updated route available to Salisbury University students and the community. Service will resume January 31st at 9 PM and will run throughout the SU Spring semester on Thursday & Friday evenings.
Starting its 40 minute loop in front of the Salisbury University Academic Commons Building, the Downtown Trolley will shuttle passengers from the University to the Downtown Shops & Restaurants. The trolley will run Thursdays and Fridays from 9 PM to 2 AM and fare is free for students, faculty, and staff with SU or UMES ID and is only $1 otherwise.
In an effort to make the Downtown Trolley even more user friendly, drivers have added even more stops along the route! Stops along the route include Salisbury University Academic Commons, Route 13 in front of Maggs Gym, University Orchard (in the complex), The Gathering, 2 stops in the University Park complex, University Village, Cedar Crossing/The Seasons, Evolution Craft Brewing, Mojo’s, Market Street Inn, Salisbury’s Downtown Plaza, Brew River, William’s Landing, and South Blvd at Hanson Street. (New stops added are in bold) On 3rd Fridays, Trolley service has changed to start at 6:15 PM and run through the entire event to connect the community with the fun outdoor events held in Downtown Salisbury.
