Community Foundation to Host Next Generation Leadership Institute

The Community Foundation is partnering with Maryland Nonprofits to host the Next Generation Leadership Institute.  This exciting workshop series is tailored for emerging leaders in the nonprofit profession.  The fee for the complete series is $299. It will be held at the Community Foundation’s Eastern Shore Nonprofit Support Center in Salisbury.  This is a unique local opportunity to attend an intensive nonprofit management training program with little or no travel and lodging costs.  To reserve your seat, please visit www.cfes.org.

This program is designed for nonprofit staff looking to advance in the field.  It will also benefit new nonprofit leaders who wish to expand or enhance their knowledge base.  This series would also be useful for nonprofit board members who want to better understand the fundamentals of a nonprofit corporation.  Maryland Nonprofits will present the following three sessions:

January 21 – Pass to Excellence: This session will focus on fundamental nonprofit      management issues.

February 25 – Finance and Fundraising: This two part session will focus on financial tools and fund development.

March 18 – Staff and Board Management: This two part session will focus on staff management and board governance.

The deadline to register is January 15, 2015 or until the Institute is full.  Confirmation of registration will not be made until payment is received.  No refunds will be available, however registrations can be transferred.  In addition, limited scholarship assistance is available.
