Dr. Peggy Naleppa, MS, MBA, FACHE, President/CEO of Peninsula Regional Medical Center (PRMC), has been named to the 2014 Becker’s Hospital Review of “130 Women Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know.” This is the third consecutive year that the PRMC CEO has been recognized by the national publication. Naleppa, who this year was also named One of Maryland’s Most Admired CEOs by the Maryland Daily Record, was one of only three female hospital leaders in Maryland to earn this most recent distinction.
According to Becker’s, a leading national healthcare publication, the 130 women chosen demonstrate outstanding leadership within the hospital and healthcare industry and a proven ability to lead their respective organizations in the midst of healthcare’s challenging environment. They have demonstrated considerable skill and promise despite times of uncertainly and unprecedented change in the industry.
Dr. Naleppa, who is a registered nurse, holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from St. Joseph’s College; a Master of Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from the University of Maryland U.C.; an MBA with a concentration in medical services from Johns Hopkins University; and a Doctorate in Management with a concentration in organizational process management from the University of Maryland U.C.
