More than one hundred and fifty Chamber members, clients and friends of W. R. McCain and Associates gathered for the SACC June Business After Hours to celebrate the company’s 30 years of providing comprehensive real estate valuation and consultation services on Delmarva.
Dubbed “Fun and Games with W. R. McCain,” it was a night of great networking, reminiscing, food and hit music from ‘80’s – the decade W.R. McCain and Associates was founded. Games were in the mix as guests played corn hole, ladder ball and bottle bash. Ice cold libations and soda hit the spot on this sticky summer evening. There was plenty to eat as well – East Town Eats laid out trays full of pulled pork sliders, grilled chicken skewers, and a variety of crudité and charcuterie. Ever the gracious host, W.R. McCain President/CEO, Bill McCain, noted, “You only get to celebrate 30 years once. Let’s enjoy it!”
Since its beginning in 1988, W. R. McCain and Associates has grown from two appraisers to a staff of 20 and completed over 60,000 appraisals valued over $13 billion in real estate. When asked what he attributes to his company’s longevity, McCain said, “It’s about the people. Some of the folks that joined me after the first year are still with the company today.” He added, “First and foremost, we’re all about customer service. In all aspects of our work, we deliver an unbeatable experience for our customers.”
During the evening program, Maryland State Senator, Addie Eckhardt, and State Delegate, Charles Otto, presented McCain with an Official Citation on behalf of the entire Eastern Shore delegation. The Citation congratulated the company for its 30 years in service and dedication to our communities.
