Wor-Wic bids Farewell to Employees

Wor-Wic Community College recently held a reception for employees who retired after many years of dedicated service to the college. Dr. Ray Hoy, left, president of Wor-Wic, is shown with this year’s retirees, from left, next to Hoy, Brad T. Brown, land management worker, who was with Wor-Wic for 20 years, Paula Thomas-Shipley, executive associate II, who was with Wor-Wic for 10 years, and Dr. Elaine L. Vander Clute, arts and humanities department head and professor of English and speech, who was given the honorary title of professor emeritus by the college’s board of trustees in tribute to her 25 years of service. Not pictured are David Barsh, maintenance worker II, who was with Wor-Wic for 13 years, and Susan B. Lloyd, assistant professor of developmental mathematics, who was with the college for 25 years.
