On Tuesday, June 25th over 150 chamber members gathered at the beautiful Bordeleau Vineyard & Winery in Eden, MD for an afternoon of networking and meeting new friends at the 3rd Annual Lower Shore Chamber Mixer.
Eleven chambers from across Delmarva participated including The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce, Crisfield Area Chamber of Commerce, Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber of Commerce, Fruitland Chamber of Commerce, Greater Ocean City Chamber of Commerce, Pocomoke Area Chamber of Commerce, Princess Anne Chamber of Commerce, Snow Hill Area Chamber of Commerce, Worcester County Chamber of Commerce in Ocean Pines, and the Wicomico East Side Chamber of Commerce.
The sold-out event offered a unique opportunity for business leaders to network and share ideas with fellow Lower Shore business professionals.
Guests sipped on Bordeleau Vineyards & Winery’s wine and beer, took in the beautiful view of the vineyard, and sampled delicious food provided by chamber members Deli at Pecan Square, Playa Bowls Salisbury, and Taylor’s BBQ!
Door prizes were donated from each of the participating chambers and several of their business members. The lucky winner received great prizes from chamber members across Delmarva including gourmet food and home décor, delectable cookies, a bourbon and wine basket, gift certificates for restaurants, entertainment packages, a cooler, umbrella, beach bags, and more! It was a great opportunity for members to experience the offerings from businesses of our neighboring Chambers of Commerce.
Bordeleau Vineyards & Winery, is nestled along Wicomico Creek, just south of Salisbury, Maryland. The name Bordeleau, French for “The Water’s Edge,” was chosen to reflect not only the distinctive environment where they hand-harvest grapes, but also the favorable climate similarities to the Bordeaux region of France. The 8th Annual Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce and Dorchester Chamber of Commerce Joint Mixer will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 5:30-7:30 PM at the beautiful Layton’s Chance Winery, located at 4225 New Bridge Rd. Vienna, MD 21869. The event is sponsored by BBSI Salisbury, W.R. McCain & Associates, and Delmarva Power. Live music will be provided by Anna Burgess, and light fare will be provided by Emily’s Produce and Dinner Express.
